![]() ![]() This trilogy had everything I was looking for – urban fantasy, witchcraft, lots of risky situations, drama, flawed characters, no romantising of issues like bullying, drugs, eating disorders, no love triangles or instant love, a little bit of a gay love story. It is really hard to sum up everything in a few sentences without telling too much or spoiling later events. Despite their differences and conflicts they have to come together as a circle to fight the evil that is threatening to destroy the world. They have nothing in common, except the school they go to – and now, apparently, their magic powers. Witches and magic don’t exist, right? That is what Minoo, Rebekka, Ida, Vanessa, Linnea and Anna-Karin think until one fateful fullmoon, where they are let in on a secret that will change their lives. When the bookshop had a hardcover sale about 1.5 years ago, i got the whole trilogy for 10€ and had no reason anymore to procrastinate reading it. The only things I remembered were a group of diverse teenage girls, witchcraft and lots of mystery and danger. That’s why i never finished this series until now, because after seeing that the library didn’t have the second book, i just kinda forgot about the whole story. ![]() ![]() ![]() I read the first part in 2012, before the second part was translated or the third one even published. ![]()
